Our Beginnings
Our start up began Saturday, Oct 3,
2015. Those in attendance at this meeting were: Rev D, Bernice Baxter, Min,
Jonanna Bryant, Rev Brenda Cash, Rev Dr. Mary Hall, Evang. Karen
Herbert, Min. Carol Smith and Evang. Ernestine Smith. We
determined to stay together as a ministry under a new ministry
initiative. Rev Baxter presided over the meeting. We agreed to
work together in Christian discipleship, Bible studies, prayer
and worship services, fellowship, seminars and educational
events. We commit to love and serve each other and others in our
churches and communities. We discussed ministry strategies,
financial responsibilities and set-up, and ministry focus.
We chose our name and were in full
agreement of same. Our membership was established to be comprised of clergy
women from all denominations (licensed and/ordained ministers, evangelists,
and those validated to be working in a ministerial role).
On Nov 21, 2015 we finalized our
Mission/Vision Statement, and set every 3 rd
Saturdays of the month at 1:00 – 3:00
as our meeting times. Our activities will include support of
those in ministry, mentoring, round tables and seminars. We will
not have an annual conference. We will have a ministry emblem
design.
On Jan 16, 2016 we elected our
officers: Pres. Min. Carol Smith; Vice Pres. Rev. Dr. Geraldine
Pemberton; Recording Sec. Rev. Dr. Bernice Baxter; Corresponding
Sec. Min. Joanna Bryant; Treasurer Evan. Ernestine Smith;
Chaplain Evan. Karen Herbert; Activities Coordinator Rev Dr.
Mary Hall. Rev Linda Moore was in attendance. Since those
beginnings we supported the feeding program at the Baptist
Women’s Center on 01/19/16 and 01/17. In May, 2016 we Supported
the Baptist Women’s Center, Inc.
Spring Festival Event, July 8, 2016 we
had a wonderful fellowship outing at Easton Buffet, and welcomed

fed the homeless at Baptist Women’s Center, Inc.; supported the
Baptist Women’s Center, Inc. at their fund raiser, the Spring
